Inspired by the colorful beads used in the creation of our Rock Candy beaded belts, the new look was designed by Crissy of Think Pretty. Our goal was to enhance your shopping experience here, making it easier to navigate your way through the site, create your own custom belts and to see what Aila Designs is all about.

Aila's special edition Jimmy D Surf Belt was designed to pay tribute to the memory of Deputy Chief James D'heron - father, grandfather, husband and firefighter.

Jimmy lived life to the fullest and encourged others, like his daughter our dear friend Erin, to do the same. One of his favorite activites was surfing inspiring the creation of the Jimmy D Surf Belt.

A 25% of the retail price of each belt sold will be contributed to the James D'heron Memorial Foundation which was created to raise funds and awareness to help those who have fallen victim to fire and to support fire service training and education.
